DVI is backwards compatible with HDMI for transferring digital video signals, but does not include sound signals. Profigold HDMI to DVI interconnects are certified up to 1080i High Definition resolutions and transmitting the uncompressed signals without any loss for razor sharp picture.

HDMI to DVI interconnects are not supplied with new LCD, Plasma or DVD player and must therefore be sold separately.
