The Octava CAT RX Infared Receiver cable is for the HC-CAT Receivers that have a connector for this IR Sensor to route it back to the CAT transmitter or matric where the IR transmitter then sends the command to your device.

Simply connect the 6ft I.R. Extender cable to the I.R. Jack of the Octava HC CAT RX and place the I.R. Receiver EYE at a location accessible by the I.R. Remote.
